Borehole camera inspection is a fundamental diagnostic tool, mainly for existing and old boreholes, where a clear picture of the internal condition is required before any technical intervention. The inspection is carried out with specialised camera systems by Mount Sopris Instruments, providing reliable recording under real depth conditions.
The service is addressed to technical services (Municipalities, DEYA), professionals in the field, as well as private individuals and farmers who wish to have a clear picture of the condition of their borehole and well-documented restoration solutions.
Field work
Snapshots from real borehole inspections with the camera system.
Photographic material
Images from inspections and field work with the camera system.
Through the camera inspection the following are identified:
- Wear, corrosion and casing failures
- Deposits, sand and blockages
- Position and condition of screens
- Points of water inflow
- Deformations or collapses of sections of the borehole
Results – Practical value:
- Assessment of the restoration potential of an existing borehole
- Targeted planning of interventions (cleaning, development, repair)
- Avoidance of unnecessary expense on new drilling
At the same time, we provide a full technical record of the borehole, particularly in cases where no construction data is available. During maintenance work (with the removal of the pumping equipment), we carry out measurements and record critical characteristics such as:
- Borehole diameter
- Depths and positions of screens
- Type and condition of casing
- General geometry of the work
The data is delivered in the form of a comprehensive technical report, useful for study, management and optimisation of the borehole performance.
